Sandi Shilhanek | To Finish or Not Finish?

While I feel guilty if I don’t finish this book I also feel horrid about all the books

What would you do? Would you continue on with the book that isn’t working for you or move on? If you stopped the book would you set it back on the shelf or would you give it to someone else to hopefully enjoy? As for me I’m going to move on to a new book, and will keep this book in my stack because it’s on my Kindle, so it’s not taking up any space. Hopefully it’s my mood and some day this book

Until next week happy page turning to all.

I make it a point to finish books I start. My way of thinking is it's got to get better (yes optimastic approach) I find finishing it in one of two ways.. Really fast- so I can be done with it and move onto something that's better(hopefully LOL) or very slowly(all of a sudden washing dishes, cleaning apartment, doing laundry, even scrubbing toilet bowl looks more appealing LOL)
I generally finish any book that I start even if it takes me a couple of months to do it. I have so many partially read books at the moment, not because they are not good reads, but because I really don't have the time to devote. I have too many books in my TBR, but have high hopes that I will read each and every one of them... eventually.
I always try to finish a book I start, but if it truly is not working for me I will put it to the side. I usually go back and try the book again in a few months. There are very few books I've not ever read that I started, but I remember one I started three or four times and finally just gave up!
